Unable to advance MSQ

I neglected to unlock The Navel (Hard) before moving from The Waking Sands to The Rising Stones. Now she won't talk to me to unlock hard mode version. The Wiki guide says the trial can be unlocked after completing The Howling Eye (Hard), which I have.

It is unlocked in the walking sands, not in the rising stones. Try and take a look in the walking sands.

And btw. the hardmode primals are not MSQ^^

I believe you still need to go back to the Waking Sands to unlock it.

That is true but after Heavensward release or at least around there, you need to complete them to continue the MSQ after a certain point

Thank you, I assumed that the waking sands would be boarded up and vacant.
