Installation Error "Requires Windows Vista Service Pack 2"???

Hello

So I'm trying to install the game on my laptop for some portability, and in the process of trying to install, I receive the follow error:

"Installation requires Windows Vista Service Pack 2. Please carry out a Windows update."

This error bothers me in a couple ways. One, I've run Windows update so that shouldn't be an issue. More importantly, TWO, I'm not running Vista, I have Windows 7 on the laptop.

Would anyone be able to make a recommendation as to what could be the route of the problem?

I believe my laptop should be able to run the game, ran the benchmark... it scored low, but was good enough in my mind for simple tasks.

That was already reported somewhere on the forums. I think you have to run the installation with compatibility settings enabled. Try right-clicking and "Troubleshoot Compatibility".

Such a simple fix... It's running install now! Thank you sir!
