Company Chocobo

I've recently started using my company Chocobo and really like it except for one small issue. It would be nice to continue fighting with my Chocobo and be able to sign up for duties without having to withdrawl the Chocobo. When I sign up for duties I stay out fighting and would like to keep my companion with me until the duty starts.

They've mentioned they'd have to rework how the companions work in the system, and it would be difficult currently, but they do know that players wish you be able to sign up while a chocobo is out.
