crossbar set change randomly

My crossbar will randomly swap on its own. Or when I use a skill (not even a macro) my pets will also randomly un summon themselves. It is becoming incredibly frustrating to play as a healer when I have to constantly swap back and forth mid combat between sets.

My set 1 l2+square constantly swaps to set 8, and its just a basic lustrate. I've swapped controllers and removed all macros. still will just constantly swap my sets mid combat.

Will it switch to another if you press L2 and triangle, cirlce or X?

Also what system are you on? And have you tried another controller?

Regarding you're pets perhaps you've placed them and simply moved to far away. I derp this occasionally place my pet somewhere so it can cover the whole group during a boss and then move forwards through the instance forgetting to tell it to "heel"

as for hotbars there's also quite a few settings that will automatically change sets such as always going to set 1 if you put your weapon away. always going to set 2 when you take your weapon out or engage a monster. these can cause issues when you're trying to cast spells in the few seconds between pulls and things... perhaps worth taking a look at.

that said though I do rarely get occasions where I tap the stick to dodge an attack and find my character continues to move. at first I thought it was just me catching l1 (autorun) ever so slightly but happens with any of the controllers I use. and only ever on the pc. I did at one point completely remove all my controller drivers and reinstall them, and haven't had the issue since. (thus far at least)

I'm ps4, swapped controllers. And as I've found this is only an issue on my sch.and it is always swapping me to set8.

I have two macros. Summon eos has
/copy crosshotbar SCH 6 SCH 8
Cleric has
/crosshotbar change 3

Both of these do work but I dont get why when I go to cast a normal physick or lustrate or aether it swaps me to set 8

Set 8 is r1+left d pad...I have almost never done this.
and upon more "testing" ive found it is only when im doing an l2 spell as well. But again none of those are macros. All of them are normal spells. And still only on sch

So it would seem it is my eos summoning macro. The macro itself does the job intended but for whatever reason this is an annoying side effect.

Can you post the full macro? And what do you want to do, maybe you can rewite it.

I'm not sure how its affecting actions that are not macros though. You could try recalibrating the controller through system settings and check the buttons are mapped correctly.

It is infact the macro. Though im unsire how it is making so normal non macro abilities are swapping my sets.

What the goal is to have eos and selene have their skills and opposite summons on sets 6 and 7, with 8 being my extended. The process does work, andset 8 does change properly, but why this side effect I do not know.

Ok not sure why you have summon and obey twice, this might be causing the un-summon.

Here are mine, I use the same kind of macro for summoner too.

So these just use the same 4 slots on the same hotbar and replace each other when required while keeping all other skills the same, this might be better for you.

First number is the hotbar number and then the rest can be found below for each button combo.

And the reason for the wait.7 is because Obey cannot work unless the fairy is summoned, which takes about 6-7 seconds to cast then the animation without swiftcast.

If you want to keep it the way you currently do it because you have the opposite summon on the same hotbar try this. But for this to work you must be using copies of the hotbar somewhere to copy from? I might have a better idea of how your doing it with screenshots.
