R9 380 DX 11 Crash Problem!!

Please SQUARE ENIX DEVS DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!

I've reported the problem to AMD, I've done EVERYTHING recommended by both AMD support and Square Enix FFXIV tech support to try and RESOLVE this problem with my Sapphire Radeon R9 380 Nitro Graphics Card running FFXIV in DirectX11, and NOTHING HAS FIXED IT! Keep in mind, EVERY OTHER game that I have played with this card that uses DirectX11 and/or other DirectX versions WORKS JUST FINE. So I know it's not my end! Plus I've done extensive research on this problem and EVERY person that has an R9 380 and plays FFXIV has this EXACT SAME PROBLEM. DO SOMETHING!! Someone from the development side of Square Enix... Please let us know that you are working on fixing this?

Thanks. And if this post just ends up in the Resolved section like all other R9 380 DX11 posts without being looked into: SHAME SHAME SHAME on YOU. IT"S NOT RESOLVED YET!!

had the same since summer 2015, went and RMA'd my 390 for a gtx 970. since then I have enjoyed many games without this issue lol. I suggest you do the same if you have that option.

Uh... there is no need to RMA this graphics card, I really like this graphics card besides this software issue in FFXIV it runs PERFECTLY FINE. Square Enix Needs to fix this!! I as a consumer shouldn't have to replace my graphics card because they can't fix their software to be fully compatible with this particular card. It's a BRAND NEW card, it SHOULD be compatible with the DirectX 11 Client. Please Square Enix Devs, don't leave me hanging? Thanks.

I've got an R9 270, and I have the same problem. I spoke with them yesterday, and in short, they know there's a problem, they just don't want to fix it. They said to try running it in windowed mode, because that's how everyone prefers to play their games, right? :-)

Jotah... I feel your pain. I play in windowed mode, and it doesn't solve this issue. Like I said, I've tried EVERYTHING recommended to me by various support from SE/FFXIV/AMD, as well as everything I've researched that could potentially fix the problem. Still, no luck ;(. It's not on my END! It seems every TIME I've talked to FFXIV/Square Enix support on this issue they just tell me to play on the DirectX 9 Client... If I wanted to just play FFXIV with the DirectX 9 client..
Then I would have just bought a lower end graphics card that doesn't support DirectX 11. If the graphics card SUPPORTS DirectX 11, then IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO RUN FFXIV with their DirectX 11 client!

Please FFXIV Devs... DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS in a PATCH!! Also.. it would be nice to hear from someone on the dev team to acknowledge that they realize this problem exists, and are at least working on it?.

Yeah I have a R9 290x and if I play in DX11, the game freezes when I teleport or Alt-tab to do something else. DX9 works fine. When HW first came out, it worked great in DX11, however, after one of the earlier hotfixes or patches is when the issue started and nothing I have done seems to fix the issue. I wish some one would look into this issue so it can be fixed. Hate to have to buy a new card just to get it to work.
