Unable to get past loading screen before game crashes

Up until earlier today, I was able to play the game perfectly. Now I go to my character select screen, and during the 'loading screen' into the Lavender Beds, my game decides to crash every single time.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled all of my drivers, un/reinstalled the game, disabled a lot of my other programs, including antivirus, and I feel like I've basically spent the last 12 hours trying to get a game to work that I just wasted half the day with.

I actually figured out the issue, since I decided to try something that happened with two previous MMO RPGs I used to play. Skype being open while I logged in was my issue. I closed skype fully and I was able to get into the game fully.
