Ixali Story Quests HELP
I tried make quest "Reaching for cloud nine"
I got "unable to commence you do not have the proper items equipped"
This don't let me make Hull interior component...
My all crafting had 20lvl (*19). Is it too high?
What I do now?
EDIT:
Nevermind. I'm stupid.
I need use Ehcatl Wristgloves. I found http://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wi...i_Daily_Quests
Wear Ehcatl Wristgloves and worked.

I've got the gloves equipped, but whenever I present the components to Hildeyerd to start the quest, I trigger the cutscene, but when I come out of it, I can't craft, and speaking to hilderyerd only has me hand the components over to them again and starts the same cutscene. Not sure if there's something I missed or if it's a bug

A slight necro, tho the quest should be the same.
Quick look of the quest some things to check.
- Ehcatl Wristgloves from vendor equipped (sounds like that is fine)
- have buff "Facility Access: Detailing" (automatically applied by Hildeyard when he gives you the materials).
- Craft is under special tab -> beast tribes ->ixal quests, should be the green one at the top
- you hand in to Tataramu, quality doesn't matter
Sadly, beast tribe quests aren't included in newgame+ so can't test that one specifically.
-
That's the thing, when I exit the cutscene, it says I get the buff, but I don't get the materials, instead the components are still listed as a key item and can't be used to craft, only to hand over to Hildeyerd again

It shouldn't matter if the "Hull interior component materials" are on the key items tab. I would double check the crafting log of the class you are doing the quest on(has to be a crafter) and see if the materials are registering and you have everything you need (equipped items, buff, shards, recommend craftsmanship?). If still no insight there check on the balance discord to see if anyone has encountered the same problem recently, potentially putting in a bug report, tho I suspect we're just missing something here.
Thankfully with the xp changes there are other avenues that will let you quickly blow past ixali quests and you can come back and tackle them when things are worked out. So I wouldn't pull out too much hair over this.
