Nope, you have to demolish it and buy it again as a FC.
The same if you want to change a FC house into a personal one.
The only semi-alternative is not enter the personal house for 45 days so that it gets auto-reclaimed.
Pro: You'll get back 80% of the gil used to buy the house initially.
Con: You'll have to be ready to re-buy the plot as soon as it becomes available again. You'll have an advantage, in that you'll know exactly what day the plot goes up for sale, but you do run the risk of someone buying the plot from under your nose.
If you're doing alright on gil, you should probably just relinquish the house manually and re-purchase it for the FC. Technically, someone could still buy the house out from under you, but it's a lot less likely.
Also, either way, you're going to lose any destroy-on-pickup items from the personal house.
