I don't think a lot of people know that you can get free tier 4 materia from beast tribes.
What I noticed is about 9/10 people in DF did not put materia in their new 3.2 gear. You shouldn't be missing materia since it increases the stats for your class.
Damn it. Why would you tell everyone. I was making a ton of gil off IV materia.
I think there's a lot of people who haven't ranked up the ARR tribes to the point where they give those materia tbh

Maybe if you didnt need a crafter to put the materia in people would be using it more. I haven't even bothered with the gear I have gotten so far.

You do realise that a full lvl4 melded left side is a 5 ap added on 1000? Its a 0.5% dps increasement.
You may shorten your dungeon run by...10 secs.
Rng of your crt will screw you over far more :p
I would love to meld my gear but my highest crafter is like 34.
