Polarized Glass

Not sure where to place this question

Where do I get Polarized glass ? I mean it is needed for almost all that requires light (higher tier) and I cant find it anywhere. Not even from maps (or my RNG is bad)

Anywhere that it can bought/found/made ?

What? It's used in 2 synths, both glamour items. Just doublechecked to be sure it wasn't added to anything "higher tier" this patch.

Pardon the hijacking, but while we're talking about obscure items, what about Taffeta Cloth? I know there's some on the marketboard selling for fairly cheap right now on Goblin, but where does it come from? Maps?

I also thought it was from maps, but aparently it comes from quick ventures and Field exploration XIII, XVII, XVIII.
Also while i do like to look up things on xivdb i find the information often incomplete or wrong.

While occasionally slower to update http://ffxiv.gamerescape.com is more accurate i've found.
