NIN - Critique my rotation A5S SSS attempt

In short, i210 NIN couldn't get past SSS dummy for A5S and is looking for help

Using i210 Eso weapon (yes i didn't clear a4s nor get the relic) and the 200 VA Chest (eso chest is worse) and proto midas boot with accuracy melded (seph ex requires around 620 accuracy)
I tried my best to optimize my rotation, here are some details

- Using the Shasta opener, suiton on pull, to avoid 3 step ninjutsus in between gcds

- The ninjutsu at 1:00 was delayed by a few seconds to line up with the next trick attack, armour crush was used in place of aeolian edge for the same purpose despite ample time on huton

- Within that trick attack window I fit in an aeolian edge and mutilate

- At 1:30, blood for blood was delayed so it will catch a burst phase a few seconds later

- At 1:48, all dots refreshed within blood for blood, as well as raiton, dwad, mug, and duality aeolian edge

- Slight mistake at 2:08 where internal release was not registered despite pressing it, leading to a gcd clipping in the next gcd where i did ir + suiton

- Next trick attack at 2:17, includes kassatsu raiton and both dots, buffed by internal release

Any constructive feed back will be appreciated, it is kind of frustrating to see that 1% and knowing for sure in raids i will have either a war for storm's eye, bard for foe req which helps ninjutsu damage, and drg for litany. And if the parse lasted for longer I can have my next burst phase (the 90s off gcds) to improve my numbers, oh well...
Side note: I actually managed to get past that 1% once, but did not catch it on video...

I'll be totally honest with you:

I never cared about BiS. I only cared about my iLv. Reason is, higher iLv gives me more DEX. There are MANY people who argue with me that I'm doing it wrong, but I generally don't respond because I don't care what they think.

That said, I didn't beat the SSS, but I was VERY close. I probably could have sneezed and won (over-exaggerating), but here is my NIN at iLv210, like you.

My main stats are:

Dexterity (Attack Power): 1071
Accuracy: 656
Critical Hit Rate: 787
Determination: 421
Skill Speed: 626

You're killing me on the crit, but I rely on my crit AND attack power for my damage. I don't hold CDs, either, with the exception of using Duality while Internal Release is active, and I don't have a rotation. I start my fights randomly, so I never need a 20 second pull macro. While I also normally don't target-lock, I do it on these Dummies to guarantee all my auto-attacks hit as well.

My stats have changed as my NIN is now iLv212:

Dexterity (Attack Power): 1080
Accuracy: 656
Critical Hit Rate: 845
Determination: 433
Skill Speed: 582

I cleared the Dummy with about 30-ish seconds to spare with a lot of mess ups of my combos and my dots would sometimes skip and just disappear.

/im trying to find why i have 30+ more dex then you. even bringing my gear to match you doesnt change that gap.
ok, i think i might have been in a party while looking at stats.

I beat the A5s dummy with iLvl 207, but it was very close.. :)
I used a pot in my opener, but i don't use bufffood

your gear should be good enough to beat the dummy
and you had little mistakes during and at the end of the battle

i use the CDs when they are ready, because the fight is only 3mins long

I tried this out after seeing your post last night. I beat it with 2 sec. to spare *phwew*. Honestly, I think you were on-pace to win, but the last 6% or so, you let your DOTs drop and just spammed Aeoleans. I think that might have made the difference.

In your opener you did
... > SE (TA) > SF (Raiton) > MU (DwaD) > SE (Mug) > GS (Dual) > AE > ...
Then delayed the mudras for them to aling to TA refresh, right?

May not be much, but if you switch it to
... > SE (TA) > SF (DwaD) > MU (Mug) > SE (Raiton) > GS (Dual) > AE > ...
You may not need to delay your mudras anymore for the 2nd TA. (tho, basically is the same)

Also, Darklune is right, MU is one thing, but SF only needs 9 seconds to be worth it, so try not to drop it.

Not by a lot, but I was in the 40 second range on the clear. Still not having 900+ crit like you, but my attack power increased, giving me more damage (although that crit would be nice). Going back to what I said earlier, I prefer iLv because I'm usually gaining more attack power (Dexterity), but that's just me.

How did you do that =x

My NIN's i216 now with the Sephirot Weapon and i230 Lore Chest and I just tried the A5S SSS and only managed to beat it with 7 seconds left to spare.

I only did 2 aeolian edges during my fight with the dummy and was doing dancing edge/armor crush and sf+mutilate plus gcds and all

Either he didnt realize that he was doing the A5 normal dummy OR hes making up numbers. Beating the A5S nin dummy with 40 secs left is the equivalent of 1843 dps.
