so my friend is trying to play ff14 again after a long time so hes downloaded ff14 on a new lappy in new zealand hes from malaysia and trying to figure out a problem he has
everytime he tries to log into ff14 its asking for registration code but he left all that back in malaysia he said... if he resubs his SE account to make ff14 active again will that skip the whole registration process since already has ff14 linked to his account?
Was your friend using the PC version before? They require different codes from the console versions. If he puts the PC code onto his existing account though, it will allow him to use all of his old characters.
The only other problem might be that malasia had a different version of the game? Korea and China both have closed servers. If he was playing on one of those versions he would have to buy a new version of the game and start over in order ot play with you.
yeah he was using the pc version thats why i was thinking if activates his sub might fix the problem... since already has a registration code linked to his account ;/ he played in same world as me when he started out sooo dont think the region lockout is the problem :3
Yeah. Activating his sub should work, as long as he didn't have a closed version of the game.
