Question about character-recreation for 2.0

So they said because of the new graphics engine things will be displayed differently. Because of this they are going to allow players to completely remodel their character.
They also said there will be a completely new character creation screen with extra options.
They also said they are creating new servers some of which will be language specific.
I have two characters.
My questions are:
*Are we going to be able to rename our characters as well? (im thinking we will be but id like a confirmation!)
*Will we have the choice to also re-choose our server (for free) upon character re-creation at 2.0 launch? or are we stuck where we are?

im thinking yes to both questions but these things are very important to me and i dont want to make the wrong decision as to which character to keep.

I feel like this has been asked before...either way, I'm hoping for a redesign of my Elezen - AND - I'm hoping to get my hands on higher level undergarments as well. I have no protection for my undercarriage with my level 1 briefs. @_@

you know what I'm wondering? if we change gender and race, will our event gear be swapped?

It just might be. Although doing something like that shouldn't require too much effort.

I'm just glad they mention barbar's etc hopefully they constantly add new hairstyle etc to the game as it goes along.
