No saved patch progress??

After 200 days of no sub for FFXIV I was hoping things would be fixed. But some are worse? After hours upon hours of trying to download a 1 gig patch I'm still no where. Prior to my leaving at least download progress would save. I've had to restart from 30% + Multiple times.

What is going on here. Why does FFXIV still not use direct downloads with the thousands of complaints? I downloaded and installed 28 gigs worth of steam games in half the time that its taken to fail ffxiv patch numerous times... I just signed up again and so far 2 days of my new sub have been wasted trying to get this new patch ... no telling how many more days it will take.

I still can't get in on PS4 are you still having issues?

At least you get that far. I'm still getting that stupid error every time I try launching the game on the PS4.

I don't know what else to do, support has been absolutely no help. Is there anything we can do to even be reimbursed the time that we have wasted trying to play?

On PC it saves patch progress, I don't have much experience with the PS4 version.

I mean my boyfriend's PC version worked fine and installed in minutes.. yet the PS4 just tells you to F off essentially.. this is absolutely ridiculous. 6 days....
