At least those who have the patience to craft all day will probably make a fortune.

ppl who wanna pass the raid content quick need have a really big ammount on gil now, because potions, raid food and even gear now need be meld, all this stuff worth a lot more now.
hope the hardcore raid player could sell enough savage run before to stock up they gil ammount. :cool:
anyway let time pass and see how it will goes.

I can live with the material cost of crafting 3.0 potions, but I really wish they'd multiply the ingredient list by 3-5 and let the recipe yield that many potions in one go. The sheer amount of labour involved in doing three star crafts is totally out of whack compared to the 15 second buff that the items actually give you.
If Square were sane, they would keep these as 2-star at max while increasing yields. These are commodities that every raider burns through, and cannot afford to pay for a stack that requires this much effort just to craft, let alone HQ, and requiring some form of aethersand that requires ephemeral nodes.
Crafts like these, in which raiders burn through stacks of them, NEED to be simple crafts that you can churn out easily and relatively guarantee HQ after meeting the initial gearing investment. That's what made 2-star level 50 X-pots great, and what makes d-pots and max-pots so, so stupid.
There seriously needs to be an intervention at this point; lower the difficulty and increase the yield per craft or just watch as another tier of potions is ignored for x-pots.
I'm at odds with my opinion and deduction of this. On the one hand I'm wondering if SE doesnt want people using stacks of potions to get through a fight, and is trying to extend the time it takes to clear. On the other hand though, that devalues the potions use, and makes the cost further unreasonable.
