New HD UI challenges

I was rather excited about the new HD UI elements for people like me who have a larger monitor that supports rather large resolutions. However, upon changing my settings to 150%, it looks horrible! I know that I can re-size most elements but there are a few things that are not within the options that I think are rather disconcerting.

Text size; Perhaps I am missing a setting somewhere, but flyby text is not adjustable, the text for interactable objects such as NPCs, Aetheryte, etc is the same. I find it odd that we cannot change this what so ever. Previously this was not an issue and if I had the space or desk real estate, I could sit about 10 feet back and it would be perfect. Unfortunately, this is not the case.

[EDIT] To add to the bizarre nature of it, the text boxes where NPCs speak are now HUGE while the quest window and other similar UI elements are tiny. I haven't been able to find a way to change their sizes in the UI editing winow.

Anyone else having similar issues or who may be able to offer some advice on how to change these aspect that I am not thinking of?

Hmm...is this for PC only? I'd test it out and give you any feedback I get on my ps4.

I don't know if it is PC only to be fair. There is a new option under System Configuration > High Resolution UI Settings. I am currently attempting to use Full HD (150%) which is stated to be for 1750x984 or higher resolutions (I use 2560 x 1440).

When I get home. I'll check it out. And see if I encounter the same issues/can resolve them.

I use a 2560x1440 monitor and those options seem broken to me. 150% and 200% options are exactly the same. No difference between them. The 150 option seem too huge. I expected something better cause the default 100 is too small for my res. Seems like it's bugged. There is no change between the 150 and 200 options. Seems like the 150 has the 200 effect which supposed to be for 4K monitots.

Same resolution here- I tried the 150% and promptly reverted. The UI was huge- if it's actually 200%, that would explain why it's so much bigger than I was expecting.

Glad to know that I am not the only one. Some of the issues to me seem that the text for 150 and 200 are exactly the same. At 150%, it almost looks blurry and distorted. Not to mention the map is so large that it takes up 1/4 the screen no matter what. I am also inclined to believe it is bugged slightly as windows such as quests, quest rewards, menus, etc. are still small (almost too small to read) and everything else is huge.

I was also extremely disappointed with this.

I have a 1440p monitor, so not quite 4k, but still. I immediately changed to the HD ui, expecting that the actual resolution of the UI would improve (higher res icons etc). However, all it did was blow it up, it was no different than if I just set all my settings to 140% scale. Everything also seemed a little off and I ended up swapping back to my old set up.

I use a 28" 4K monitor, personally, and I set it to 200% and it was actually pretty gorgeous. My only main gripe is that, while I was able to increase the size of my mouse cursor, it moves much slower in pointer mode and changing the camera speed doesn't affect that. I'm not going to switch back anytime soon, just wish I could adjust my mouse cursor speed (no, changing the DPI settings is not an option as that would mess up other things I do on the PC.)
