I don't know about you, but the throwback to FFVI's theme, and the phase transition.
I kid you not, I was SCARED when I saw his 2nd phase. The music, the atmosphere, the battle ITSELF is something that shocked me!

agreed. it feels so different from the other ones. Most fun fight i've had this game thus far

Yup, this fight was great! I went in blind with 7 people from my FC and static and it took us the full lockout to figure it out, but we got it down without asking for outside help. Great mechanics, an awesome looking boss arena, and overall just a really fun fight. :D
I'm not really too keen on the 2nd phase's music, but the fight was pretty nice. (Normal mode)

When boyfriend and I got to that part in the fight and heard the beginning of the music we kinda just looked at each other like "lol did we just walk into a male stripclub? xD"
Then that double sided attack with the 2 big glowing orbs my BF was like "watch out for his big balls!" ....I ended up dying to a mechanic cause I was laughing he damn well sabotaged me I tell you.

I love it as well! Totally a fight I wouldn't mind farming one bit :D
First group I was in had issues clearing and ended up vote abandoning, but after I explained what I learned to the next group, we cleared after just one wipe. Had a DRG fall off the edge at the beginning of the second phase though... LOL
nice fight, only took a few tries to get all the mechanics down with a DF party xD
PS: try looking over the edge during phase transition :P
