you cant meld main stats [vit/str/dex/mnd/int] etc in any of the slots now sooo
ariyala has some idea of stat caps check that out for now
The patch notes said something different
do it just add +0 stat on it (then the stat is already on cap) or can't you use a materia of an already existing main stat?Quote:

also while there isnt the eikon gear on there, you can still see stat caps for other pieces for ilvl's, while not accurate it may be roughly what you can go to
Well I already mutamixed my Tier 5 Mind away into *drumroll* Tier 4 wind. This is what happens when you attempt to meld Mind on Mind Equipment.

Just trying to figure out which out of Acc, Crit, and Vit will fit best with cap. Acc needs to get as close to cap as possible. @.@
You CAN'T meld a primary stat on a HQ item already have this stat... Because HQ caped the item !!!
On a ring of healing you can put EVERY other stat except mind !
Ok so everyone is missing this whole post. I understand that ... NOW. I thought with 3.2 coming out materia would change a bit in order to actually create incentive for main stat melding. These materias are no more useful than Elemental ones. I am just asking to see if anyone has figured out stat caps.
