Any Single Race FCs Out There?

Back when I played WoW, I was a member of an all gnome guild named Gnomeregan Forever which focused on gnome lore and roleplay. It was an interesting experience.

I was wondering if people in FFXIV have done similar things. For example, an all Rogedyn company. Was it successful or were players frustrated with the racial restriction?

I know of several Lala-only linkshells.

How does that even work anyway? What if a friend want to invite their friend to the FC, they have to changed their race to a Lala? Hmm...

I knew of a Roegadame linkshell on Hyperion, but once Au'ra came out it became a hybrid LS.

Single race style guilds can be popular among RPers depending on the lore and background of the race. I remember back in my WoW days there was a blood elf only guild that ran itself like a noble house and yes, if you wanted a character in that guild it had to be that race..

I know of a roegadyn-only linkshell (not FC) on Balmung called 'Broken Chairs' - as to how I know this, my FC family includes many roegadyn ladies and gentlemen. :) I thought the name was cute at least. ;)

The FC I'm part of is Miqo only (Kitty Assassins). We're more of a social group than one focused on end game content or the like, so having a racial restriction isn't really hindering us from doing what we normally do. Plus, we're pretty upfront about the Miqo only aspect so if you decide to join you know what you're getting into first.
