As the title says, can we please have unique raid gear for savage? I really hated how much alexander gear was devalued by the fact that it was just a dyeable version of the i190 gear that was easily obtainable. Looking back at coil, it's sad that not only is the story not a reward anymore, but the gear STILL isnt any different from what you can get in midas normal mode, and when the gear is junk (looking at you gordian fending boots of parry and skill speed), the gear is worthless in every way.
Before I get my head bitten off, I don't care that normal mode exists (though I would prefer it come out after the raid goes into DF with echo), I just want something unique that the raiders can work towards and feel special about (as opposed to the flat numbers, that may or may not be better than the tomestone equivilent).
On another note, I wouldn't care so much if normal mode wasn't mandatory to unlock savage, so regardless I can't just "not do the content," and keep the rewards special of my own volition. What do you guys think?

I think you need to realize that the savage raid gear is always the top tier gear during it's current content, making the physical (digital) reward on top of the sense of either satisfaction or existential no-life crisis you get from completing the most difficult content. If you don't like the way it looks, glamour it.

Put it this way, if I saw someone in full coil gear, that was a personal trophy for them, and I could instantly look on in awe at the hard work and skill that it took to get that gear, alexander doesn't offer that same reward.Quote:

Personally, I prefer the title system for such, though sadly with the introduction of faceroll unsync, the titles have become mostly meaningless for coil. I would like to see certain restrictions added to things, that way the title denotes that you didn't just steamroll everything, but that you actually earned it. Or at least have unique titles for clearing savage content, i.e. Of Savage Dragons or Of the Savage Father. That way, since gear is commonly replaceable, you keep the title while changing gear or classes.

This game has a tendency to treat everyone like they are entitled to everything, no matter the amount of effort that is put in, and thus give it to them, even extra special rewards like titles. I don't mind accessibility nerfs (i.e. making things that are so rare they are mostly unobtainable (think void ark minion as an example) so that they are rare but at least seen), but they go beyond that far too often.Quote:
