AST looking to get into progression raiding

Hello everyone. I've recently decided that I'd like to take the leap into FFXIV progression raiding with the intent of clearing a tier (is that what we call it here?) and seeing all this game has to offer at the higher end.

My raiding background is primarily based in WoW, where I've raided as a healer for many years with some experience raid leading but mostly just as the one who coordinates cooldowns and such. But since I'm currently in the lull of farming the final boss of the last raid with little else to do, I'd like to apply my progression-oriented skills to FFXIV.

My experience in this game has primarily been casual, playing as a WAR for fun. But since I know I can heal and raid competently, I've devoted energy to working on AST for 3.2.

I realize in many ways, without FFXIV-based progression to show, I may be fighting an uphill battle, but I am happy to speak with anyone in game (Kerias Aesthesias) or through VOIP. I'm also, of course, happy to do trial runs.
