The biggest question among the gardening community is whether or not a cross can produce two or three different seeds. We've come across a few crosses that seem to produce up to three different seeds, but in the past (mainly 2.0) this didn't seem possible.

For example: Old World Fix x Pearl Sprout = Dalamud Popoto Set, Azeyma Rose or Royal Kukuru

In the past we only expected up to two results from a cross. However, as you can see we now have conflicting data.

The second question is in regards to cross direction and if that plays into account when determining if a cross can produces more than two seeds.

Since we've been able to figure out 99% of the cross results, we've basically been able to take out the element of surprise with gardening and are more focused on efficiency now.

1 - Yes, the new seeds have up to 3 different seeds in the potential crossbreed table

2 - By cross direction do you mean the plant you are harvesting? Yes, the crossbreed tables are sometimes different for the two different seeds used in the cross

3 - We haven't figured out 99% of the cross results. There are nearly 5,000 different possibilities, and many haven't been explored because quick paths have been found to grow the crossbreed only seeds, so there is no urgent need to explore further

I think they mentioned in a live letter that gardening post-3.0 is going to have RNG chances of different seeds and multiple seeds.
