Keyboard stuck in chat- can't play

RESOLVED- direct chat was enabled, a helpful person in my linkshell worked it out :)

Was directed here by in-game support.

My keyboard is stuck in chat mode. I can't click out of it. I have exited game, relogged and problem persists. This means I can't use keyboard for movement or any action assigned to a key. Mouse is functioning normally. This happened when I was looking at the macro window and the text commands. I likely clicked something there that made the change. I am on a PC-Windows 10, using mouse and keyboard.

Please help urgently so I can resume play!

yeah, Direct Chat keyboard is meant for gamepad users. as it will consider any keypress as meant for the chatlog, while most controls are delegated to the gamepad. Keyboard shortcuts normally accessed by specific keypresses in KB+M mode require pressing CTRL or ALT in addition in direct chat keyboard, including movement keys.
