Upon changing the race, do the racial stats change as well?

I cannot 100% confirm this because I have levelled up beyond 50 or the node bonus criteria might have changed and I did not notice.
There were gathering nodes which previously I could not get the bonus for when I was a Hyur which I now can as an Aura.

Your stats do change when you change race or tribe.
But it's a really minor change.
