We all know how much you hate grinding out monsters over and over again just for the chance to get a random drop right?
What if there was a class that treated monsters as gathering nodes? Where you could gather materials X amount of time for a sufficient amount of a certain material you need with all the skills to go with it (kings yield, ect.) without having to rely overtly on RNG. You could also have skills to pacify aggressive monsters before you begin gathering from them. Would make it a ton easier for jobs with more expensive items like LTW/WVR to get mats, and could be pretty fun it it's own right if expanded upon. Just my thoughts.
