...just remember these people actually THOUGHT of you, unlike those countless keys that get left behind when people race for the gate first.

Seriously though, I never understood why people do this. Pick up the key, then unlock the gate. Almost 90% of the time I'm the only one that actually waits for the right mob to die to pick up the key.

Funniest Castrum run I ever had was when someone forgot the key...ten minutes later, we can't get through the door.

Everyone just stood there and watched the message come up. I ran back and got it (as WHM)

Someone then said "OT you had one job". Couldn't stop laughing

I had a similar case where the door to the next boss wouldn't open cause no one bothered to pick up or use the explosives to destroy the ceruleum pipes. I poked fun at the group for it and they kicked me. *shrug*

Sounds like they saved you cuz I wouldn't want to run with that many wet blankets.

Love this when I'm healing dungeons too. Battle ends and I'm using the time to reapply buffs. Meanwhile, everyone waits at the locked door until I finish buffing and pick up the key @__@

Oh my goodness, I feel for you bruh. Like AskaRay said though, you were probably better off without them honestly.

Guilty of this... i just walk right by keys and assume someone else will get them so of course get those awkward moments where no one picked them up.

I always get a good laugh out of groups like that. Healers sprint ahead, tanks run off, the DPS can't be bothered, and you just sit there like, "Don't worry guys, I'll get the key. >.>"

I usually end up with the opposite. Where everyone picks up the key or pushes the button (in the case of fractal). When that happens it's almost always two dps and the tank with the healer watching. So I'll normally comment 'how many people does it take to pick up a key? All four, the tank and two DPS to find it and the healer to supervise.'

Healer needs to stay alert just in case someone injures themselves. :p
