Heyo!
Something I've always had a bother with is that the game never informs you when you've unlocked a new Title for use on the Profile.
A pop-up of some kind (maybe like the Atma-style ones used in the Relic/Anima quests) to inform you of the Title you just received ("Title Unlocked: the Heart of the Party") would be really nice.
That would be nice, for titles and rewards both. Although there's already a notification (to the chat log at least, and IIRC I think it includes a sound to draw attention to it) that you completed the associated achievement, unless you open the Achievement Log to see it, it doesn't currently tell you whether that achievement unlocks a title or reward or not. Adding a further notification when a title or reward is unlocked would help.
(And if it's a reward that's unlocked, include something along the lines of: "Such an accomplishment would surely make a fine tale to tell. There's someone in Old Gridania who would undoubtedly love to hear about it.")
I totally agree! As it is I check my profile automatically now each time I complete a quest now just to see if it rewarded me with a new title, but being actually informed of that in the chat log upon completing the quest would be better as it would save the guesswork. So take my likes! :D Please SE! Please consider this!
To my knowledge all titles come from achievements. So unless the quest you did unlocks an achievement which might give a title, there's no reason to assume you got one. And achievements do have rather visual splash window with sounds effect. What I'm saying is, you only need to check when you get an achievement, if it gave title or not. And the achievement window has the "latest 5" section so you don't even need to hunt for it all that much.
What they could do would be to add a small note of the received title to the splash window that now shows the achievement title and icon. Maybe a second line that tells the title received, or that there is item to pick up.
