I stepped away from the game for a couple of months while they worked on some things and now I'd like to give it a shot. However, when I logged in the other day I found that I am no longer in a linkshell. I'm just looking for mostly a social linkshell, where I can ask questions and chat with people while doing whatever it is I'm doing! Would love to do events, but currently I don't have much time with 50 hour work weeks and a live-in girlfriend.
Wow, 5 days and no responses? Does anyone have any advice on where to find linkshells that fit people's styles other than here? Thanks.
A good way to get a look at what linkshells are available is to go to ffxivpro.com, select your world, then select 'go' next to linkshell search on the left. It will tell you if they are inviting (if they set it up that way), and some might have added their personal linkshell website. Best of luck to you! :)

There are number of active social shells on palamecia, send me a tell in game sometime.
Probably Palamecia forum here is pretty dead.
Having been lurking and talking on this official FFXIV forum for a while, most of the people I see who answer to the threads often are from Besaid, Lindbum, and Wutai. Hardly ever see Palamecia people.
Yeah, there AREN'T many Palamecia people, are there? To be honest, I'm always happy when I see someone from Palamecia posting on the official forums. It's nice to see kindred spirits.
