shards in retainer are shown wrong when using the search button

Retainer name: eluna, pheyphei, yuffie and two more that i cant remember

started a few days ago
i clicked the search for button in the shards section of the inventory and said i have "x" amount. i go to the retainer to withdraw and i have a completely different number being shown.
i originally had hoarded a large amount of shards for crafting but recently sold em due to good mb prices. i think that might have caused it to bug.
