Endgame Levequests
Can this be a thing now? Please?
Here, I'll even make it easy for you; Make endgame Levequests personal Hunts.
So I go to East Shroud, pick up an A Rank Levequest, and now I'm hunting Melt. There can be the usual Levequest faff of killing some random trash or securing locations, to simulate an actual hunt, but the end result is I get to fight Melt, alone or with some friends, rather than with the whole server. With scaled tomestone/Hunt mark rewards.
Similar to those worthless Temple Levequests, you can even "balance" it by making them cost multiple Leves, to spawn an A Rank it could cost 5 Leves, while a S Rank would cost 10 Leves. Might need to adjust the difficulty of the Hunt mob, but that isn't too much of a problem, is it? Currently they're stupidly scaled to take the full server zerging them down for 5 seconds, with Levequests you could just balance A Ranks to take 4 people, and S Ranks to take 8, or something similar. Then we might have fights that are actually somewhat interesting, rather than a 5 second bum rush.
I'm sure myself, and everyone else who hates the stupid "wait for grandma then zerg it down" meta for current Hunts, would love the heck out of this. Hunts were meant to give us big, dangerous, open world enemies. Instead we get poor monsters that get zerged down in seconds, tying them to Levequests would be far more balanced, while still providing open world content. Plus, you know, Levequests are kind of worthless once you finish leveling (and they're not even that great for leveling, too), would be nice if they had a long term purpose.
