PC "FF14 has stopped working" workaround.

So I have had this ongoing issue for months and have posted about it a couple of times.
But I have been unable to start the game pretty much at all.


I seem to have found a stranger but effective workaround to the problem now.

I simply open up another game before I launch FF14. Normally I use Warframe but a number seem to work.

Launch the other game, then switch to Desktop. Launch FF14 launcher, log in and launch the game. Once it is running I close the other game.

I have been using the method about 3 weeks now and it is working 100% of the time.

The other game must be actually running, not just at a launcher and you have to be completely logged into FF14 before you close the other one. But it does work.
