Casual Raid Team
Hey all,
I’m looking to put together a brand new savage team for those of us that have yet to experience it. I am looking for individuals who are looking to complete raid content at their own pace and willing to work hard while having fun. The goal of this team will be to learn the content and grow together. So long as you have the aspirations to succeed, the skill level to learn and complete the fights and some patience, we are looking for you!
Whilst the overall goal of this endeavor is to raid while having a good time, there may be some instances where an issue or dispute occurs. As such, those wishing to participate must agree to a few rules in order to ensure that things run smoothly:
-
1.Members will treat each other with respect and value each others opinions.
2.Every member has the right to have their voice, ideas and suggestions heard.
3.Members will be expected to stay for the duration of the raid (No rage quitting) and be patient if someone is having trouble with a particular mechanic.
4.Have fun! While the goal of the static is to clear content at our own pace, it is important to have fun with it and not worry about every little mistake you make.
5.Members will be expected to use voice communication. While I respect that some people are shy (I was once), voice communication is essential to the success of raid teams. For the moment, I am happy with members who wish to just listen and not speak, however as we reach the harder content voice communication may become mandatory. Hopefully by that point you will have the confidence to speak.
-
6.Members will be expected to show up 10 minutes before the raid start time with relevant food and potions. If money is an issue, I am sure we can work something out.
7.Failure to attend a raid should be communicated to the static leader as early as possible. While I respect that real life issues can happen quickly and without warning, you must also respect that failure to attend numerous raids or failing to give adequate notice time and time again will disrupt the entire static.
8.Disputes will be handled by the static leader and the involved parties. In the case that the issue involves the entire static, a vote may be taken in order to determine the fairest outcome.
9.The static leader’s decision regarding any disputes or rules will be considered final.
10.Have fun! Yes I said it again. This is the most important of the rules and will be heavily enforced :P

So, you made it through the massive wall of text! Congratulations! Now let’s get on to the finer points. At present, it is my intention to raid twice a week for 3 hour sessions. These will likely be in the evening, 18:00 – 21:00 or 19:00 – 22:00 server time. The days and times are flexible however and will be adapted to suit the members of the group. The short term goals of the static will be to complete A1 and A2 Savage along with getting used to each other. After this, depending on interest, we will move onto Thordan extreme and A3 savage concurrently.
If you are interested or have any questions that have not been answered yet, please feel free to post here or contact me in-game (Mumbo Jumbo). Looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hi,
I started playing FFXIV about 2 months ago and looking to get into Savage (+ 3.2 hopefully) and join my first static.
I currently play WHM and SCH (both i201). I'm more comfortable on WHM as that is the class that I started with, but I am willing to play SCH as well.
I can only play during the evening; both 18:00 - 21:00 and 19:00 - 22:00 are good for me.
As for my experience with Savage (only on WHM), I've cleared A1S a few times in the PF and only stepped once into A2S (hard to find these in the PF).
I am interested in joining if you are still looking for people.
You can find me in-game after 17:00 Server Time. Character name to the left :)
PS:
This is not a problem for me, but only one question that might be relevant to others:
Do you require us to join a FC?
-
Hey there.
We are most certainly still looking for people of all roles. I would also like to jump into 3.2 content with the static so long as everyone is on board with it. In regards to your question, it is not mandatory to join our FC. I have set up a separate linkshell for the static. I would hate to lose out on talented/nice people just because they don't want to leave a FC that they are happy being in :)
I will try to be on tomorrow just after 17.00 ST to get you invited :D
