Character Skill lag in battle

So i have a question...

Does anyone have the issue to where they cast an ability and the enemies health bar drops but like 3 seconds later your character actually shows the battle graphics of him/her casting the ability?

or in other words, i was playing my pugilist and whenever is used the first ability, concussive blow i think (brand new to the game), the enemies health bar would go down and then 3 seconds later my character would show that him/her was using the ability.

i mean its not bad cause i kill things just fine but itd be cool to see my person crush a guy with a move while simultaneously seeing the enemies health drop or knowing that my move killed the enmies instead of getting experience, waiting fdor my character to graphically show that she attack it for it to fall down.

So what im asking is does anyone have a solution to this or is this just final fantasy 14? all help would be amazing, thank you.

3 seconds is a bit exaggerated, but there is always noticeable lag in final fantasy 14.
as far as i know theres nothing you can do about it, expect waiting till SE fixes it.

haha you would think its exaggerating.. and at first i thought i was and then i played today and wow... ill have now health and then 3 seconds later my guy will fall over, along witht he same thing i was saying up top that when i cast a spell the health of the monster goes down but the animation for the ability doesnt show for like 3 seconds, im just wondering if there a fix like turning down settings or so or just hope that they fix it? post would help thank you = D

I think that's the way it is. No fix for it for now. It's not all the time that this happens, but it occurs frequently enough for it to be bugging me. Just like a lot of the frustrations, people just "play around it"
