The Balmung Situation.

So, I've been waiting to play on the server I actually want to play on, Balmung. Considering that's where the people I was going to play this MMO with are located.
However, the server appears to be permanently restricting new characters. I've waited for three days now, checking every time the character restriction page updates, but Balmung always has that dreaded X symbol. So.. Any suggestions? Character transfer was an option but for some reason the world this character is on doesn't show up in the world select list, despite the fact that I made it three days ago and meets all of the criteria. (As far as I know, anyway.)

Keep trying Balmung. Don't go to Behemoth it's a weird server.

FYI, the actual game updates by the second, whereas the page updates considerably slower. It's based on how many people are currently logged in, so your best bet is to try during off-peak hours, or directly before or after maintenance.

Oh, believe me. I've been constantly refreshing the world list in-game every 3 minutes. It's currently 2:53 AM PST so I'm hoping it's worth staying up this late.

Unfortunately, Balmung is practically impossible to get into due to having the largest population. Your only chance is whenever there's a maintenance, but then it's exceptionally rare. If you're set on Balmung, you'll need to put in the $18 fir a server transfer. This allows you to bypass any restrictions. If you do go that route, consider making a few alts beforehand as you can move up to eight characters at once, provided they've existed for at least 72 hours.
