Reclaim redeems 80% of what price?

The official post for the reclamation of inactive housing states that when your house is demolished, you get "80% of the price paid for the estate grounds."

Does this mean 80% of the original, full price of the plot OR 80% of the actual price you paid for the plot?

Anyone with experience?

80% of what you paid..

So if it was reduced a few times before purchase don't expect a max listing portion back. Don't get why people figure it would work that way outside of an SE oversight.

Based on some reports, it sounds like it's 80% of minimum sale, which is 40% of what you would have paid if you snatched it up asap.

@OP It's 80% of the price you paid. So if you paid the full price you get 80% of that back. If you paid a reduced price you get 80% of that back.

Is that based on personal experience or what the patch notes say? All I've seen are a couple anecdotal reports of people saying they only got ~40%.

Personal experience from myself and friends.

The people saying 40% probably thought they paid full price but did not. The depreciation on some of the plots is quite a lot. Or said people also misunderstood the patch notes thinking they would get 80% of full value back which is not the case. It's 80% of what you paid at time of purchase. ( 32 mil value property. I paid 16 mil for the property at its current depreciation. I got 80% of 16 mil back.. not 80% of 32 mil )

I also sincerely doubt the patch notes are wrong either despite my personal knowledge. There would be a lot of outcry and anger, and there isn't any. Your post is the first i've ever seen such a report. Everyone I spoke to that let reclaim happen for one reason or another got 80% back of what they paid.
