Timeworn maps and Anima relic?

So far me and my friend have only seen Unidentifiable Ore drop from the Timeworn dragonskin maps, and I have only seen unidentifiable Shells drop from the Timeworn Wyvernskin map.
Is this how it works and if so which items do the other maps drop?

It can drop from every Heavensward map (lv55-60 maps)

I got an Ore from an Archaeoskin Map once... just once though.

I'll try the Wyvernskin Maps though, full up on Ores.

I've gotten x2 ore from Dragonskin maps and finally got a shell from a Wyvernskin today.

I think I did a total of around 24 Wyvernskin maps while grinding my first anima. I got a total of 4 ores.

Working on the 2nd now, VERY casually and relaxed. Only 5 maps in, and no unidentifiables yet.

The drop rates seem to be hashing out at about 1/12. Personally I just gather the maps and sell them rather than risk it. Hunts are the way to go!

Dragon and Arch ONLY drop the ore mat, and wyvern ONLY drops shells. Seeds and bone cannot be obtained from maps

Someone 2 posts above you claims 4 ores from Wyvern....

I've gotten ores from Wyvern skin and Dragon skin both if that helps. I haven't gotten any shells yet that I can recall though.

From reddit, if I recall correctly, Wyvern skin were reported to drop ore and shells and dragonskin just ores. I didn't see anything about the other maps. I assume the other heavensward ones probably drop something but maybe less often. After doing maybe 20-30 each of the wyvern and dragon, it seems getting ores out of dragon is the easiest, but of course you need probably 2 or more people, which means, more sharing (but people can work it out usually to be fair).

Dragonskin Maps drop Unidentified Ores, Thavnarian Silk, Thavnarian Leather, Hidden Leather Maps, Bluebird minion, and the Piassa Minion from what I've personally seen.


The maps were selling for 25k on Excalibur yesterday and are EASILY duo'd by two people at i210. Each map gave between 40k - 1mil profit. Ore's were obtained extremely fast this way, much faster than Hunts / Law Tomes (if you are only doing the maps for one person.)


Girlfriend got the 6 Ore she needed in 12 maps. 3 more Ore a few days before in about 10 maps. She also got 3 Piassa minions for 1mil each; which paid for most of the crafted items.


I highly recommend Dragonskin maps.
