Aetherial Interference. What's that?

I was doing Castrum Meridianum early today and during the first mini boss fight (If I am not mistaken) I was unable to cast spells. Each time I tried to heal my party members or perform any other action, a message entitled "aetherial interference" pops up on the top of the screen.

Could anyone provide an explanation as to what this is about?

That's the message you get when you are outside the arena and you try to cast spells or attack through the force field.

weird. i was in the fight actively participating though. ill have to look into it again tomorrow during roulette :P

Could have been a glitch. They happen now and then under odd conditions.

If I had to wager a guess if everything went correctly and you were in the fight it would be that you on the line, and when the game checked you were counted as outside and when the barrier came up you may have been pushed into the arena thus making you inside the arena and outside at the same time.

This also happens in A4 when you try to perform an action as you're sucked into quarantine.
