Maths for SMN opener - help?

Hi guys!

So for a while I've been using the "famous" 2PF+1F opener for SMN because I've found it to be faster than waiting on each Fester, and also allowing the use of two Festers inside DWT and RS. I thought it for most time to be a mathematically pretty optimal opener for SMN, but my brother found a video that got me thinking a little bit.

As you can see, this SMN in particular fits basically the whole opener inside Raging Strikes, not only that, but also fits it inside Battle Litany. This comes at the cost of using Energy Drain instead of PF or Fester, and also at the cost of not using Ruin III inside DWT once. He keeps using Ruin II in order to use Rouse, Spur, and command Garuda. However, I thought it was interesting that this guy manages to keep all his opener buffed by basically everything.

My brother and I have been arguing about if this is mathematically optimal or not, so I was wondering what the opinions of you lab wizards would be. On one side it seems to not be necessarily the most optimal in terms of mathematical potency, but once you factor in all the party buffs...
