Typing while crafting

Do you see how irritating it can be just reading the above? That's what chatting in /l is like in FFXIV while crafting. Except, unlike the above, you have to arrow-up to retrieve your last typed bit of text, while also keeping track of what the heck your last synth action did. Please repair this annoyingly bad bit of programming.

They should just remove the timer on crafting as it serves no purpose what so ever and could easily be removed.
