USB SteelSeries Siberia v2 Headset Crashes Game When Unplugged

I don't know what it is, but it is only FFXIV that has this issue. World of Warcraft doesn't have this, and none of my other games either.

One of two things happens if I accidentally unplug the headset while in game: It either A: completely crashes the game, or B: I lose all sound and have to restart the game to get sound back.

USB 3.0 and 2.0 but it doesn't matter which one I use.
