Chocobo

Sorry this is in an unrelated topic! Couldn't find an appropriate one in the gameplay forum. Total silly issue really and unimportant but thought id ask. Ive been playing casually since launch and ive noticed that my chocobo companion is still only rank 2? Is this some sort of bug or does it just take total ages for companions to level?

It does take awhile to level up chocobo's but if you feed it every few hours (if your FC has a home and chocobo stable) and complete the 2 challenge logs for killing mobs it will rank up much quicker.

i needed a whole year for lvling my chocobo to rank 20. and i had him with me all the time i was doing stuff like quests, beasttribe, fates... doing the challenge logs all the time and was feeding him around 8 times every day... okay, my boko was already rank 10 wehn they released the chocobo stables and training, so it will be a bit faster now. but yes, it takes a while xD

yeah just seems to be taking ages lol Its no big deal I suppose but hes handy to have around to tank when soloing. Ill look into feeding him more I guess, thanks for the help!

Make sure you do unlock the challenge log. It grant two weekly chunks of exp for your bird.
