I didn't see a thread about this yet but... What?

The hatchling lamp may be lost under the following conditions:

If it is removed from the estate by the owner or another player.
If the owner leaves, or is discharged from, the free company.
When losing access to a shared estate.
In the event that the estate is demolished.

So, am I reading this right? A BUY-ABLE furnishing with REAL MONEY .... CAN'T be removed from the estate? Are you joking?

It's totally like primal furniture and yes it sucks.

A lot of furniture is like this. I had to demolish my Tidal fount when I switched servers and it was worth 5 mil at the time.

Oh, look, the totally amazing and not pointless and stupid removal thing on certain furnishings is now on an actual paid piece of furniture, how cool.

It's kinda sucky in that if you move houses you'll lose it, especially for a rare item, but it's like that to prevent ppl from reselling a normally untradable item I'd imagine.
I'm not sure how they'd get around that since any furnishing / airship part that's "binding" isn't truly bound unless it's destroyed on removal.

Bind it to the character so that only they can remove it from that one place that the one trick can be done, then they can't use it to make furnishings that are binding be "traded" at all.

I'm sure they can figure something simple like that out, then this obnoxious limitation can go.

I think people are misreading. They added a new warning that furniture can be lost under the new conditions of house sharing as well as some old ones. This is a separate and different warning than the one associated with place-only furniture such as primal stuff. This warning pops up for everything now and does NOT mean you can't retrieve the piece.

Yes. A lot of furniture is like this, but furniture you pay REAL LIFE MONEY on? Yeah. No thanks, I really hope they didn't mean it'll be gone/break like other "special" furnishings.

Its that same message...for an Oasis Dining Table (the Carby Chair also gives it)

This particular error began after Shared Housing started; it applies to all furnishings, not just those that break on removal.

There is a different error for items that can't be removed; if I had an item that did that laying around, I'd take a screenshot of that error.

EDIT: Lol, didn't realize that the FC line was in this; this is my personal house, leaving my FC won't do anything to my stuff
