Job Quest - SP Reward?

A few months ago, Dev's decided to make the reward for Job Quest's guild mark only, saying that they were unable at this time to implement the SP reward for the job, but it would be implemented in the future.

I understand that FFXIV is more grind based than quest based, but an SP reward makes the whole storyline seem more worthwhile (Although the cinematics and storylines are always worth watching IMO).

Perhaps it falls short on their priority list compared to the monster patches we've seen and the many great things to come.

It feels like it's been swept under the rug, or forgotten about, so I'm hoping to gain some insight.

There was never a SP award associated with class quests.

Personally, I think EXP for job quest completion is a no brainer. The whole point of developing your skills into a job is that you're getting very good at the weapon. If you get better at the job, obviously your capabilities with the weapon are going up.

They aren't unable to implement SP reward to the class quests, they just don't do it.
Class quests are for guild marks, class story and to unlock the next tier in the guild mark shop.
