Mi'qote Males in v2
To the wonderful artists of SE, can we (for once) not get male Mi'qote/Mithra that looks like a re-textured female?
Stripes (tiger), manes (lion), spots (leopard), more fur, more muscle...anything?
I am thinking in the line of the Ronso tribe in FFX.

It was expected. Vide Lehko Hakoba. Male miq = Michael Jackson cat-version...no wonder they always lived with tarus/lalafats.
-
Personally I'd like the option to play a male character where I don't look like I'm on steroids. =/
I hope they go with what's in the concept art for the 2.0 info.

Wevlum indeed.
It's great to have option of a character that don't look like on steroids.
The bad about chaging race is that my Right of Passage will be wrong.
-
I'd rather not look like some horrible bishie as a male miqo'te. If they give you the option of being gruff like in the concept art, I'd be cool with that.
-
For the umpteenth time: Good Lord please no.
I have had it up to here with the male side of MMO anthropomorphic races looking like they escaped from the furry community's muscle fetish arm, although it's still fairly bad when they're noticeably more muscled than the females. It's similarly annoying when they for some inexplicable reason look a great deal more animal-like than their female counterparts.
Worst of all, this game already has a race for people want to play muscular male characters (not to mention well built females, soon!), but it does not have one for people want to play more feminine ones (bickering about Hyur looks aside, I'm in favour of moreso than that).
Significant gender dimorphism in MMO anthropomorphic races was a little bit clever, once. Now it's just annoying and overdone as all hell.
Please, just go with the posted concepts. They're actually a little more masculine than I'd prefer they be, but I'm happy with them as currently concepted.

I can think of a number of creatures where the male is more physically attractive to the eye. Muscles aside (I'm not fond of the idea either), is there any reason why the males couldn't have, in addition to the concept art, stripes or spots on their torso/limbs to distinguish them? Nothing overwhelming, mind you. Rather, working as accent features.
-
Well I dont want them to look overly muscular, but a slim and fit version would be ok.
-
The thing is if you don't want to look like that you already have 3 other male characters you can play as that look like they're on steroids. Why do you need a fourth? Isn't it a little selfish?

Not sure that I agree with the OP. The female mi'qote don't look like tigers or lions or leopards, oh my! They look like house cats. So I think the males should be in the same vein. A little more muscular, sure, but I don't want the typical mi'qote couple to look like the Terminator and Skeletor.
