Tank Advice?

Hi all,

New to the forum here, I was hoping to get some advice? I've been having a really hard holding hate as a Tank lately and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong (not the right gear? did I distribute attributes wrong? etc). I'm a level 53 WAR, item lvl is 116 and I'm currently working my way towards Heavensward story wise. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much.

It's 100% your weapon. i70 in lvl 51+ dungeons isn't going to cut it. I'd recommend getting an HQ Wootz Bhuj, an HQ Mythrite War Axe, or an HQ Mythrite Labrys.

Make sure to upgrade your weapon regularly, as the higher your level gets the better gear everyone else will have. They should give you an NQ/HQ weapon every so often in the MSQ, that's what I used all the way to 60, as well as the gear when it was an upgrade.

Thank you so much! Someone from the forum was incredibly kind and made a HQ Mythrite Labrys for me to use, so hopefully that will fix the issues I've been having. Fingers crossed. :)

Steel Cyclone and Unchained are very huge aggro grabbers. IF it gets really tough, you can use IR>Berzerk with them for added "umph".
