Interior Housing Slots

Has SE ever considered the number of Interior Housing slots? Right now my personal house as 100 slots & it is cozy really just about the right number of slots unless I used a bunch of bulky items. I also have a Mansion for an FC house & it's close to 4-5X the floor/wall space of a small house & only has 200 slots. I have made some very nice areas especially up stairs, but there is allot of very open spaces & walls that need extra slots to get right. I have yet to go into a mansion that doesn't look like it is kind of bare in some way even when using the large objects.

In my opinion I think they should at least make it so each house as it goes up in size has equal amount of slots per size. Since 100 slots is perfect for a small house a medium house with 2X the space should have 200 slots and the Mansion which could fit 2 small houses plus a medium house all inside should have 300 slots. An extra 100 slots would go a long way to making a mansion feel more complete.

Yeah have a small cottage just much like the outside is just a hair short on slots to honestly leave me completely satisfied.

I've got a nice formal setup utilizing all sections of the house. It maybe needs another 5-10 slots and the outside like another 5 and it'd be in a sweet spot.

I'm in favor for all the housing sizes getting a small bump.

All sizes need a significant increase in item limit...not just a little.

"Limitations" is se' default excuse that needs to go!

The most recent statement from them that I am aware of is from the August Live Letter:
Q: Do you have any plans to increase the number of furnishings we can place in our house?
A: "We’re currently working on features that will automatically relinquish houses... and thinking of increasing the cap after this"

Any update on this from 3.3 update information?

We need at least a 25% increase across the board. I've seen some really nice places that obviously are being held back by item slots. I have yet to see a large house fully furnished on all floors. My medium FC house is coming along nicely but I already know one floor will basically be abandoned.

I'm into making set pieces of items.. so one corner may have up to 10 items to get what I'm after. I'm also attempting to have natural lighting through the house since we can turn off the main lamps now. This only adds to the stress of trying to fit everything within the limit. I said 25% at the start but that's the minimum.

If a SM was 150 Slots.. MED was 200 slots and larges go up to 300 (not sure what max is now)..

These changes would alleviate alot of stress decorating inside. Outside needs an increase as well but in smaller numbers. Please SE.. this would be a great boost to housing without actually having to add in more wards. Something to temporarily appease the masses..

I tend to wonder if the issue is because of Lavender Beds - which is my favorite ward.

Lavender Beds is clearly the most heavily detailed ward, which is probably why the holiday decorations are considerably fewer there (but still look good). For example, Lavender has no snowmen for christmas scattered around the ward except for the area down by the water and the two stalls, where as the other two housing zones have them at various places.

I wonder if they'd have to lessen the detail of the ward(s) to allow for more furnishing slots.

Yeah I get that for outside furniture but inside is instanced. The ward detail shouldn't have an impact on this.. /shrug..

It's desperately needed. The houses of a major portion of players are clearly lacking in allotted slots. Across the board... SM is the only one remotely where it should be.

In the last live letter it was said that the dev team is looking into adding more slots currently and from what I understood they're trying to make it happen with 3.3 when the additional wards are coming out.
