Crashing upon logging in

Details:
As soon as I choose my character, the FFXIV client crashes. Started after I crashed after I arrived in Limsa via Airship.

Steps:
1. Enter login information. Hit play.
2. SQUAREENIX logo goes across screen. Main menu for FFXIV pops up. Hit "Start".
3. Agree to the "A Word to Our Players"
4. Choose character (Mishugashu Hawkwind)
5. "Now loading" screen pops up for a few seconds.
6. FFXIV client crashes.

1900 CDT

Frequency:
As of right now, every single time. I cannot log in.

UPDATE: I created a new character and was able to play. It appears only my character is bugged. Mishugashu Hawkwind on Palamecia server.

Try moving the final fantasy xiv folder in your documents/my games/ to desktop, run the ffxiv config and try again. Sometimes the data in that folder gets corrupted.

Thanks for the reply, but this did not work. I think that my character is placed somewhere where it shouldn't be after getting off the airship, and needs to be moved with GM powers or something.

I don't know if it was someone on staff or it just fixed itself, but I can log in once again. Weird how I logged in at Gridania, though.
