The New Luminous Engine?

I'm just wondering if square enix is using their new luminous engine for this game (its just bothering me). I'm no tech expert or a game dev, but by the looks of it it may be possible that they are. Tesuya Numura said that for FFXIII Versus, they added some of the elements from the luminous engine to the game, such as better lighting effects. So by saying that, it may be possible to do this to FFXIV since it is using the Crystal Tools.

Now by the looks of the picture below, it seems that they will lower the graphics (like they claimed for ps3 users), but improve the lighting, which I think is a good idea because well done lighting can make any game look fantastic.

Anyways, what do you guys think?

I hope if they do they fix the anti-aliasing lol dont even know if its turned on x.x

luminous might just be a lighting engine that they will add onto the crystal tools engine to help improve and optimize its performance for ps3 and pc.
