Can anyone comment on the FATE drop rates, if it's better or worse than Atma when it was in its slowest?
Because if it's the same or worse... nope... just nope. Not exactly asking for it to rain crystals just... you know maybe make that part less painful than it used to be?
Rng is rng, I spent close to 2hrs in sea of the clouds and got 0 drops. Moved on to the coerth west and got all 3 in 20mins.
In a total of 7hrs grinding I have 8/18

I collected all 18 Crystals in less than 4 hours.
Yeah. RNG is RNG. People gonna hate me.
I got 12/18 within 5 hours, not too bad considering how I had problem with East Shroud for days back then during pre-nerf Atma.
This part of the relic quest isn't too bad, it's not nearly as bad as atma was and you can level an alt while doing so, it's a win win really since there are tons of people in all fate zones right now.
Do you NEED to be on this quest to get the drop chance? Or does it drop as long as you've accepted the quest at least once?
I've got three more zeta weapons to exchange for relics, but I'm waiting to see which ones I want. Probably going to level a dps through fates before I make my decision, but I don't know if I should pick up the quest for a random class BEFORE starting my fate grind. As long as I'm grinding fates, I might as well be getting the crystals.
So far 2 hours zero drops. So same rate as the old days so far. Hopefully some drop soon to give some sort of hope. If not I'll just chill playing for raid weapons, since everything we work so hard for is a downgrade after awhile. Lol
It seem that getting 3 crystals take around the same time as 1 atma pre first nerf.
