I keep thinking about the whole PS3 thing, are they really going to base the game around a system that will be seven years old and probably that same year at E3 will be shown the PS4? Sony has pretty much dumped the idea of backwards compatibility before and I doubt they will even entertain the idea for the next gen system. So yeah, it doesn't seem like a good line of thinking on their part for putting out an MMO at the end of the life cycle of a system. :confused:

NES > SNES > N64 > Gamecube/Wii were obvious technology upgrades, PSX > PS2 > PS3 again were obvious, there's really nothing the PS4 can offer that is such a huge leap forward the PS3 will fade out of existence on it's release. -

Even then, the "PS4" would have backwards compatibility (FFXI was playable on the PS3). In no way are they really going to limit the PC version because of the PS3. Trying to compare the limitations of the PS3 and the PS2 is incomparable.Quote:
